Q: What time do you come to work?
A: I come to work at 9AM.
Q: What is the first thing you do after arriving at work?
A: After I get to my desk, I communicate with my manager, browse through some projects that I’m currently working on, or grab a coffee if I’m feeling extra tired in the morning.
Q: How would you describe your work?
A: Broadly speaking, I mainly lead projects with resources from Sony Corp to turn great ideas into reality. I also manage a technology room where all expensive equipment reside and give showcases to employees.
Q: What time do you end your work?
A: I end around 5PM to 6PM depending on the work load.
Q: What is your lunch time and/or break time scene like?
A: I’m able to head to lunch whenever I would like, as long as I have a good pace on projects that I am working on. Lunch at Sony cannot be better – at The Hub, they serve different and always amazing international food everyday alongside the usual burger and deli stations. I eat with my colleagues and friends from school – if we are not in a rush, we head to the rooftop and enjoy the beautiful sun.
Q: What are some things that you enjoy at work?
A: I actually enjoy everything I do – especially visual arts and research aspects as these are the two main things that I help with my department to innovate and grow.
Q: Any fun story or episode to share?
A: I have met several famous artists, including DJ Khalid, P!NK, and Calvin Harris to name a few. It was really exciting to meet them in person!
