Student Spotlight Series

Alexander Mayes is an NYU Shanghai student studying Business and Finance, with a double minor in Chinese and Political Science. He expects to graduate in 2017 and is interning this summer as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs in their Investment Banking Division.

“Within Investment Banking, I sit on the Private Placements desk, a group that arranges private equity issuances for pre-IPO companies. I’ve already learned so much this summer, and we’re only halfway through the internship.
